Have I got a story for you!
Saturday I went to London with a friend to pick up some things for my new apartment. To read more about the apartment CLICK HERE. We went to JYSK because that is where some things were on hold for me. They brought out the bed frame, then they brought out a dresser, so I asked if they could bring out the sofa first because it had to go on to the truck first. The guy goes back inside 20 minutes later comes out and say the sofa is on the top shelf and they can’t get it! I couldn’t believe it. 20 minutes later a lady comes out and says “the sofa is on the top shelf and there is no one who can drive the forklift so there is nothing we can do for you!” I was taken aback because she didn’t even offer any suggestions about how she could help.
So asked if they would deliver it for free since I was there and they couldn’t get it for me and she said that she was not able to authorize that. So i said who is and can I talk to them, but of course the only person who could approve free delivery would not be in until the next day.
So finally she offered me a 10% discount on my next purchase but pretty much said I was SOL, but we did not leave with a sofa. So I have to try and contact this manager or go and pick up the sofa another day.
The quest for the sofa continues!!
