Spring Has Sprung

Welcome to warm weather, it is finally here!! I just have a few thoughts for you today!

First of all, congrats to my Vancouver Canucks! They beat Nashville to move on to the Western Conference Finals! I look forward to watching much more hockey this year!

I have been reading Mere Christianity – C.S. Lewis over the past little while and I would like to recommend it to you! If you have not read it, it is a very easy read and provides some really good points to ponder.

Have you ever played golf? I have once, in the past year and that was summer, well this year I will be playing a few more times! I mean, I have been to the driving range many times, but that does not make me a good golf player by any means, so this golf season we be a season of learning as I have already got a few days of golf lined up! If you have any pointers let me know!

If you like video games have I got just the thing for you! I have recently subscribed to BlueXephos on Youtube and they are a hilarious duo that posts gameplay of different games and they always have a very funny commentary while they play! Check them out! Some of the games they play are Minecraft, Portal 2, Terraria. One of my favourites is their parody of Born This Way – Lady Gaga they call it Form This Way CLICK HERE to check it out!

Finally, a point of frustration for me this week. This past weekend Jen and I went to Niagara-On-The-Lake and Niagara Falls. During the day we climbed to the top of Brock’s Monument and I filmed our time and some different parts of our day. I filmed it using my Flip camcorder and I put it on my computer and wanted to edit it a bit. Turns out, apparently windows doesn’t like to edit MPEG-4 videos. So I have some good video but no way to edit it. I am not going to buy a Mac, but I would like to edit my video not just watch it, raw and uncut. Any suggestions? Let me know!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. About the video thing.. You can download a file converter, convert it into MP3, then edit it. Unfortunately the only file converter trials I have found are, well, just that. Trials. I’m sure with your expertise you can work something out though. I use Prism, or Shock I think. One is for visual, the other audio. I think Prism is visual. Anyways, good luck with that!
The weather here is finally good too! It rained like crazy last week, but it’s been beautiful so far this week!
