When I Grow Up

When you were growing up, without meaning to, your family and friends tried and push you through the stages of life. When you are a kid, everyone asks “What do you want to be, when you grow up?” but it doesn’t stop there. Eventually you start dating, and suddenly the question becomes “When are you going to get married?” What is wrong with people? You finally get married and they still are not satisfied, now they start asking “When are you going to have kids?” and believe me, they are persistent with that question. My Stages of Withdrawal

This month is set to be an extremely challenging one for me, I have given up something I love. Something that I would spend time with on an almost daily basis. Pop (American Translation: Soda)! Some weeks I would find myself drinking a lot of pop and I know it contains a lot of sugar and other ingredients that may are not the best for you to consume. Put it on the line

Have you ever had to put your faith on the line and trust! It can be a lot harder than it sounds! You may have heard Jen and I are going to Uganda, this is what it means for us. We know we are supposed to go, and it is sometimes hard to trust that everything is going to work out. But we know the rewards are going to be far greater than the costs!

When have you had to put your faith on the line?

As I write this, I am preparing for my second interview. In the first interview, I was asked about a mentor I had in my life and the effect it had on me. Now as I prepare for the second interview that question is still in my mind.
